ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Anita Cooper, and my journey in the world of crafting began in my hometown of Lake Charles, Louisiana. When I was a teenager, my family relocated to Denver, Colorado, where I grew up as one of ten children. At the age of 14, I discovered my passion for sewing, driven by a strong desire to create my own clothes. This early start ignited a lifelong dedication to crafting unique and functional items.

 

After high school, I married and had two wonderful sons. I initially focused on making clothing for them until they started school. It was then that I expanded my horizons, venturing into creating crossbody bags, a product not widely popular at the time. My creative journey continued as I began designing tote bags, jewelry, and other accessories.

 

I am deeply passionate about transforming raw materials—whether fabric, leather, vegan leather, or repurposed materials—into one-of-a-kind creations. Continuously experimenting and refining my skills is at the heart of my work. My ultimate goal is to open my own boutique, a space where I can share my passion and unique creations with others.
